(9,090 posts)protesting the 87 universities that 260 of limbaugh's 600 loudest radio stations depend on.
that has been the most pervasive source of repetition the last 30 years and continues today. the idiots on media who minimize it live iin cities and listen to music while they watch fox, a decoy.
those senators aren't scared of trump, they're scared of the dittoheads that team linmbaugh controls. if one uni starts to look for apolitical alternatives to broadcast sports on the whole thing, the most important ally trump has, will fall apart.
advertisers will head for the hills and the add industry will finally have to start asking clients if they really support trump and global warming. market demand and the ad industry will force many stations to look to alternative programming or even start offering balance to keep those sports. pro sports willl join too.
americans can't do anything about what the russians are doing with facebook etc but it would be easy to destroy the rw talk radio monopoly

(81,238 posts)That was his news philosophy until recently.
I just bring this side in and let em say their piece and that side in and let em say their piece and thats that. Ive done my job. What? Fact checking? Moi? Nah. Not my job. I just bring both sides in and let em do their thing and let the viewers decide.
Bastard. Fact-check much? Anybody can just come in and spew crap on Meet the Press and you will just let it go, unchecked and unchallenged, right? Cuz its not your job?
In my fantasy of if I ran MSNBC, hed be the first to be shown the door. I might not even set up my office yet. This is my ch more urgently important, especially for the message its send to everybody else farther down the food chain.
Dont care if hes recently reformed. The damage is already done. And theres no way to trust his news judgment. No way to be sure he wont fall back into his lazy hands-off news philosophy once he thinks the coast is clear and he can relax back into his old bad habits.
Hell, I might also look deeper to whoever saw fit to install him as host of that distinguished longtime show in the first place, and show THAT executive the door, too. (And Andrea oh but her emails Mitchell, you better watch yourself. Youre already warming up in the proverbial bullpen for that, too.)
