It makes it harder for Democrats to win. Jim Hood (the Democratic candidate) has been the Attorney General since 2004 and has never lost a statewide election, so there is hope.

Although Hood has been polling well, within a few points of his opponent, I fear he will come up short.

even if the Democrat won the vote by 5 or 6 percent in Mississippi the republican would still probably win the election the way their system works.
