Democrat Wins Knoxville Mayor Election

Democrat Indya Kincannon has won the race for new mayor of Knoxville, TN.

She will succeed another democrat, Madeline Rogero, who won the two previous mayoral elections in the city.

The city has always been very liberal. They have a woman's suffrage statue on the center square mall of the city. I love that city.

Her opponent had many more TV ads. She worked with Rogero who has been very effective and popular. I was surprised but pleased that she won.
