@RandPaul
Enshrined in the 6th Amendment is the right to confront your accuser. 15th century Doges allowed anonymous allegations inserted in the mouth of the lion to convict the innocent with gossip.
Then Trump should face:
*all the women that accused him of rape & sexual assault
*all the students he screwed w/ his fake university.
*all the workers he didnt pay.
* stormy Daniels
*congress
Did I miss anyone?

(34,139 posts)Rand Paul must have missed the part where the right to confront your accuser is during the trial, not during the investigation. This investigation is bringing up far more than the original whistle-blower allegations. What does Rand Paul think about all the people who have come out with supporting and additional information not covered by that whistle-blower. At this point that person's allegations are almost irrelevant.

(21,758 posts)These republicans are all a joke without a spine. I'd love to hear a conversation between Paul and Lindsey Graham about their conversion to Trump.

(279 posts)that it gives a defendant the right to confront the "witnesses" against him or her, not the accusers. The whistleblower may or may not be an accuser, but he or she is certainly not a witness.

(8,858 posts)While you are so concerned with laws, it is against the law to expose a whistle blower......also meeting with Russia and carrying out their agenda. Go knock on your neighbors door and explain to him your concerns. Please provide video of the ass kicking this time. America and the media will be very grateful. Thinking Putin would even chuckle, as he did when questioned about interfering in our election....again.
