Zelensky was ready to cave to Trump before shit hit the fan (NYT)

The Ukrainian leader really wanted military aid even if it meant becoming Donald Trump's bitch. But the leak of the military freeze forced him to cancel his CNN interview, in which he was planning to issue a caving statement on September 13th regarding the investigation of the Bidens.

There's a lot of speculation that Trump and Putin had a deal to give Ukraine to Russia. It was reported some time ago that Sawdi Arabia, UAE, and Israel's far-right government were encouraging the same thing on behalf of Russia/Syria, and of course their own interests. And of course the same for the Kurdish region in Syria.
