PERJURY: "After Mr. Trump got off the phone with Mr. Stone, what did then-candidate Trump say?"

Last edited Tue Nov 12, 2019, 12:37 PM - Edit history (5)

Zelinsky gets to ask the question.

"After Mr. Trump got off the phone with Mr. Stone, what did then-candidate Trump say?"

Gates: "He indicated that more information would be coming."

Manafort then said that he would update others in the campaign, “including the candidate,” about future email drops, Gates testified.

A prosecutor then asked Gates if the “candidate” that Manafort was referring to was Trump himself, and he replied, “Yes.”

Gates also testified that in July 2016, he walked in on a phone call between Trump and Roger Stone. Although he personally didn’t hear the contents of the conversation, Trump told him after hanging up with Stone that “more information” that would be damaging to Hillary Clinton would be coming.

Gates is testifying as a witness in the trial of Stone, who was indicted earlier this year on charges of perjury, witness intimidation and obstruction of justice.

PERJURY.

Trump denied in writing and under oath to Mueller any recollection of ever discussing WikiLeaks with Stone or being aware of Stone discussing WikiLeaks with the campaign.

Gates testified he was in the car with Trump when he Trump talked to Stone about it.

Rick Gates direct is over. Brief but hardly lacking in substance, including government getting on record that Donald Trump himself talked about upcoming WikiLeaks disclosures based on conversation with Roger Stone

Trump got off the phone with Stone and told Gates that more was coming from WikiLeaks. But Trump told Mueller he didn't recall ever speaking to Stone or anyone else about what WikiLeaks would be doing. This is a big indicator Trump lied to Mueller--which could be a crime.

This was on 7/31/16, after Trump got off the phone with Stone.

This testimony suggests both Trump and Stone lied to prosecutors. Stone claimed he didn't talk to the campaign about WikiLeaks. Trump told Mueller he didn't recall any such conversations.

after we lost the war with Russia without realizing it. In the future, all Presidents will simply be gang bosses in debt to Putin, and no one will love and respect us for our honesty, kindness and determination to stand up to Nazis and dictators. Hope you love what we let Putin's guile do to us. But it sure beats letting liberals achieve anything! Yeah.

Go ahead and cry, liberal, now that the USA is gone. Who cares? WE conservatives got another WIN, altho once again we had to cheat to get it.

Shut up, liberals. We own you now.
