I wonder if Trump really thinks he can ...."Get Away With This One."?

..Does he know what is coming? Does Donald Trump have a clue? Is he being told lies about what is coming? Is Donald Trump so delusional that he thinks he can get away with all this? Just asking. It really doesn't matter, because we know that he will not get away with this one.

Do you mean if we are allowed an election where the power is on, votes are counted, that he will lose and then if he doesnt flee the country the State of NY or whatever will indict?

I am not being a smart ass, I am being serious.

I want to feel what you are feeling, tell me how, please.

Bankruptcy, lies, divorce, getting nominated and elected. Also working with Russia and getting help from Putin. What I am saying he has gotten away with all of this crap and has not had consequences that have kept him from getting elected President, or carrying on and spewing out lie after lie...
...I guess what I am saying is, "Does Trump think he can somehow get through all the trouble coming, and still be President of the United States?..
..And the trouble coming is that he did illegal acts as President of the United States, and will be impeached soon. Does Trump think he can survive as President of the U.S.? I don't think he can, and I think he will have to resign.

no public appearances, he wrote no books, and kind of stayed out of the limelight.

Trump will have to do the same,...if...he does not want ...to be yelled at and harassed for the rest of his life when he shows his fact anywhere (your words..) He won't like that. That is not his "nature"
... Perhaps Fox News will have him, but that is all.

In several different ways which include being caught red-handed; and his own personal psychological profile, which won't allow him to admit a mistake, much less a crime.

He doesn't admit a mistake. (like the rest of us). Therefore, he is thinking that he can get away with this and everything else.

He's probably right.

I'm sure, in his mind, that's the equivalent of getting away with it.

But if he gets to still be president he will feel he won. And he'll have a good argument for it.

He'll be the first Republican ever impeached by the House. Historically, that's a pretty bad, but it doesn't do *us* any good if he stays in power for now. And his victory lap will be... ugh...

i suspect some of his apparent/actual confusion relates specifically to being held accountable for something for the first time in his life.

He's lied, cheated, and sexually assaulted...and the worst thing he's ever had to face is a fine.

Of course he thinks he'll get away with it, his experience of the world tells him that he is immune to consequences beyond a fine.
