You would think that some enterprising journalist with Russian connections and sources might someday break this story.
What is the hold that Putin has on Trump?
When did it start and what are the parameters and who are all the players?

2. I've wondered that, myself.

Since he ended up in the presidency, life has gotten very complicated for him.

I think freeing Manafort is an important objective, but maybe for reasons not obvious, yet.

This gambit using Ukraine hedges his position with Putin:
•Taking the heat off Russia for election interference vs having to give them javelins;
•Keeping Putin happy vs having his primary opponent slammed.

4. There was an article posted early in Old Yeller's dicktatorship...

discussing how we collectively will never know the depths of crimes about to be perpetrated.

The author compared it to an astronomical black hole and continued the metaphor to say via investigation and the inevitable revelations of the passage of time all we'd ever see was the event horizon.

A very apt metaphor... In my humble opinion.

Looking back on that article and what is currently transpiring from what we can see in the event horizon, I'm damn glad we can't see any further into the depths of the Trump Hole.
