but are released under supervision. This is not unusual and does not suggest preferential treatment for Stone (just for white-collar criminals in general). But if he pulls one of his stunts they'll toss him in the pokey like they did with Manafort.

and it was more stressful than if he had just gone to prison straight away. He is freaking out. Trust.

Stone is an elite convict so he gets special treatment.
He is not taken into custody upon guilty verdict.
Sentencing is set for February date. This will be set over one or more times
At time of sentencing he will appear in court in wheelchair and/or neck brace, cane optional.
Upon sentencing he will appeal.
Pending appeal he will be allowed to remain out of prison.
