USA Today: President Donald Trump returned to the campaign trail Thursday to stump in Louisiana for the second time in as many weeks, using a raucous rally to mock two U.S. diplomats who raised questions about his dealings with Ukraine at the center of an impeachment inquiry.
The people of this country aren't buying it you see it because we're going up and they're going down, Trump said. Let's keep it going for a while.
Stung by Kentucky Gov. Matt Bevin's loss last week to Democrat Andy Beshear, Trump is putting considerable emphasis on Louisiana. Republican businessman Eddie Rispone is challenging Democratic incumbent Gov. John Bel Edwards in a Nov. 16 runoff election.
You gotta give me a big win please, Trump told the crowd. Please.
Will black voters rally for Edwards? - FiveThirtyEight: While election forecasters like Sabatos Crystal Ball estimate that Edwards needs about 30 percent or so of the white vote to win reelection, thats not the only thing that matters for Edwards candidacy. He also needs black voters to turn out. And so far, black voter turnout is slightly down for Edwards. In the initial vote, 27.6 percent of all voters were black, according to data from the Louisiana secretary of state, compared to 28.1 percent in the first round of the 2015 gubernatorial election. [When] you consider that Democrats win more than 90 percent of African American voters in the state, slightly lower black turnout matters a lot in a race this close.

In a year when we increase our numbers in the House, take the Senate, win 40 states for a Presidential landslide, flip hundreds of state seats and a dozen governor seats, we are going to have to give Trump a MVP award.
Another election won by Democrats because of Trump.
