(14,966 posts)while welcome in general -- may be based in similar magical thinking rather than evidence and reason (which are plenty good as reasons to support many environmentalist positions -- but not all, because *some* nominally "environmentalist" positions are in fact bunk).
He'd be a harmless moron if he were not going to be the nominal head of state of a nuclear-armed/global-economic power and have all of the unwarranted attention that comes with being head of state by accident of birth rather than consent and/or merit.

(13,776 posts)I have changed my mind. Maybe Im more mature or maybe he is, but Ive really come to respect him and his good intentions. He may not always follow the optimal or most efficient path but he definitely always means well.
