Trump says he will consider testifying in impeachment hearing

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump on Monday said he might be willing to testify in the impeachment inquiry “even though I did nothing wrong,” although House Democrats leading the investigation have not publicly called him as a witness.

“Even though I did nothing wrong, and don’t like giving credibility to this No Due Process Hoax, I like the idea & will, in order to get Congress focused again, strongly consider it!” Trump tweeted.

The GOP will strenuously advise that Trumpy stay in the Oval Office and tweet the days away rather than become completely unraveled under oath. Were Trumpy to agree to testify regardless, it will be a sure sign that he's gone psychotic before he utters a word as a witness.

But he wants to show Nancy that he's a real man. Nancy baited him, and he can't tolerate having his masculinity challenged by a woman. Whether he testifies or not, Nancy has him boxed in a corner. He either can be labeled a cowardly snowflake, or he'll be showing his psychosis in front of hundreds of millions.

Tough one, Donnie.

It might be advisable to just run out of town and not come back. You'll lose less money. And wow, are you going to lose money.

for testifying and then, when the Dems don’t go along, refuse saying the process is unfair.

That's like saying, "I'm going to call my lawyers and tell them that I'm being denied the right to consult with counsel!"

His lawyers would never allow him to testify under the oath. The last time he did, he perjured himself.

"Eventually, the president and his legal team backed off of Trump's initial willingness to sit for an interview, instead advocating that the president respond to select questions in writing. Trump submitted his written responses to the special counsel on November 21, 2018."

See that? He responded to "select questions"--in writing! Hilarious. And many of the answers had the "I do not recall" problem--from a guy who has bragged repeatedly about his "great memory."
