are the rise in corporate control of govt and the rise in insane partisanship related?

it just sorta popped into my head that the 2 share a timeline.
i mean, the whole kabuki around the parties seems to fit together well w their hidden agendas and dark money.

am i crazy?

What you get is provided by Fascism, which generally functions as a rather exclusive partnership between industry and state. These days, you also have a rapid shift into a technocratic version of it with a side of Oligarchy that will smack of a modern Feudalism, basically. The stats show that the inequality factor will only increase and, within two or three decades, that upper-percentile will own just about everything globally.

I don't see anything in the current picture that will really avert that trend, either, even if we win the Senate and Republicans become more and more obsolete due to the fact that their current agenda is not conducive with the change in demographics and effectually obsolete when it comes to the Fourth Industrial Revolution that is gearing up right now.
