If they would object to a Democratic POTUS doing everything trump is doing? (Not that a dem would).
I dont know how we fix the mindset that our laws only apply to people on the left political spectrum.

(42,641 posts)The US corporate media, often misidentified as a liberal media, never applies the same standards to the GOP as it does to the Democratic Party.
In 2016, there were 12 GOP candidates, but the US media never talked about "the GOP in disarray".
But in 2019, the fact that there are 10 Democratic candidates inspires countless analyses that revolve around the theme of Democrats in disarray.

(6,797 posts)Just wait until we get a democratic president what goes around comes around. If the law doesn't apply to a republican president then they won't apply to a democratic president either.

(6,486 posts)The next time there's a Democratic president, just start claiming all the absurd executive powers (like unitary executive, i.e. dictator) that Pukes claim for Puke presidents. If Obama had claimed unitary executive powers all the Republicans in Congress would have had strokes, heart attacks, apoplexy, and the vapors and been gone within 24 hours.
