@realDonaldTrump
Nancy Pelosi just stated that it is dangerous to let the voters decide Trumps fate. @FoxNews In other words, she thinks Im going to win and doesnt want to take a chance on letting the voters decide. Like Al Green, she wants to change our voting system. Wow, shes CRAZY!

OP
I'm outta WaPo views ... any clue as to what she actually said in the memo, if anything?

Trump Attributes Fox News Quote To Crazy Pelosi

The Washington Post reports:
President Trump lashed out at House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) in a tweet early on Tuesday morning, misquoting her while characterizing the ongoing impeachment inquiry as a ploy to skirt around the 2020 election because she thinks I will win. Tweeting after midnight Tuesday, Trump attributed a quote about the 2020 election to the House speaker but it appears the quote actually came from a Fox News reporter in a broadcast an hour earlier.
Rather than from Pelosi, Trump appeared to be taking his quote from Fox News chief congressional correspondent Mike Emanuel. Just after 11 p.m. Monday, Emanuel said, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi circulated a memo to Democrats tonight telling them it would be dangerous to let voters decide President Trumps fate when it comes to the Ukraine investigation.

(18,837 posts)2. Thank you very much for sharing, I hadn't seen the WaPo article, but...
...it's also the reason why my subject line didn't include anything about a Pelosi quote, because at this point, even if he cites an actual "quote," he's going to twist it or take it out of context in order to support his "narrative," So it is nice to have a fact-check that obliterates that.

(58,785 posts)6. Yes, always check. But this one's contradicted by what we know
of Nancy and Democrats, checking merely confirming what running the input by our funds of knowledge told us would be the case.

(58,785 posts)5. Thanks. FAKE QUOTE. Nancy would NEVER say that.

And assuming there even IS any such memo?

(17,195 posts)4. I don't even have to be told he's making that quote up.
He is so pathetically transparent -- which says a lot about the mentality of his supporters. One may be forgiven for falling for a sophisticated con, but one must be really stupid to fall for a poor one.
