The Army and Navy just sent a signal as clear as day

The Navy has decided that if the convicted Seal that Trump pardoned can't be mustered out of the Navy - They will, at least be sure that he will no longer taint the Seals.

Today the US Army announced that they are protecting LTC Vindeman 24- 7 and will circle the wagons on post if needs be to keep their Soldier safe.

Safe from the political supporters of their Commander in Chief.

Sorry. I just felt the need to remind myself of that last part.

The message is plain. We will obey commands we will fulfill our obligations to the letter but we go no FARTHER than that. We will protect our own and we will continue to teach our troops that a culture of honor is worth keeping.

Well, because of this corrupt POS in charge they are displaying independence. As best they can anyway.

Letting the White House know that they are not part of the effort to defend Trump.

Not a platitude, but he showed more guts and loyalty and patriotism as I've ever seen of anyone testifying before a Congressional Committee, especially standing up to the republican scumbags AND the faux "commander in chief", his ultimate superior - in name only, of course.

And he did it affably with a great sense of humor, too.

The thing they don’t need to say is that they have determined the facts show Trump is a traitor and that the armed forces stand with the Constitution.

Most EVERYONE who has taken the oath knew they would.

Thank you for a great OP and thread, (Master) Sergeant.

What about the SEAL who admitted actually killing the prisoner?

Although he cannot be prosecuted, he is an admitted war criminal.

Are they still keeping him as a SEAL?

From the Stars and Stripes

On Aug. 1, Richardson dismissed all charges, including conduct unbecoming an officer, against SEAL Lt. Jacob Portier for having a re-enlistment ceremony for Gallagher next to the dead body of the ISIS fighter who Gallagher was accused of stabbing to death when the prisoner was being treated for injuries, according to The Associated Press. Richardson also decided not to allow any actions to be taken against Special Warfare Operator 1st Class Corey Scott, who confessed during Gallagher’s trial to killing the ISIS fighter, according to the AP. Scott had been given immunity by the prosecution to testify at the trial.

But from what I've read they will both lose their Tridents/be drummed out of the Teams.
