1. I knew someone once who used to shoplift every time

she went into a store. Even if it was just a stick of gum. It was her thing and she bragged about it. She was proud of her ability to fool the clerks and store owners.

When she got caught you would think it would change her in some way. But what happened is she got angry that those stupid people who she had duped and fooled for so long would dare to catch her. How dare they look down at her and judge her! In her mind she was superior to them and she wanted to get even, to punish them.

She never showed an ounce of remorse, nor did she apologize. She just continued to shoplift and brag about it.
