The Respondeat Superior Doctine applies to Trump's responsibility for Rudy's actions.

Basically, the legal doctrine holds a person responsible for the words and acts of their agents, i.e. those they empower to represent them. If you "clothe" an agent with "apparent authority", their actions and words are yours.

Therefore, we need not prove that Trump actually said he required a quid pro quo. He did say "talk to Rudy---work with Rudy"---and RUDY then required the quid pro quo.

Is Trump in a whole lotta trouble? As his peers might say: "FUGGETTABOUTIT!"
