he was the only one besides McCain not to drop out before the convention... IIRC he ended up with something like 20% of the total primary vote

Had a lot of supporters at the convention though, probably do it again this time just to let the delegates get a free trip (?) to the convention.

Wouldn't that be a hoot. Ron Paul, the scourge of the GOP and 20+ year do nothing backbencher, could be the guy who decides who the GOP's nominee will be.

I wonder what price he'd extract? Abolishment of the Fed? A promise to shut down the EPA and $ for public education?

What will they have to offer him to pledge to support Romney if he's the nominee? They will never let him be VP, he's too different. My guess? Federal Reserve Chairman, a post where he would actually be qualified for.
