Two incredible things Jim Jordan needs us to understand.

Adjective
incredible (comparative more incredible, superlative most incredible)

1. Too implausible to be credible; beyond belief; unbelievable.

I was watching Fox News after this afternoon's hearing with Sondland to hear just how they spun the day's damaging testimony. It didn't last long because Jim Jordan exited the hearing and they cut right to his fevered presser statements.

First of course, he spouted the backbone of their defense, that Trump said specifically that he wanted "no quid pro quo" in exchange for the aid and that they "got their money eventually". Jim Jordan needs us to believe that Donald J Trump is of the intellectual level that he casually makes statements using Latin legal terms. I find that incredible for a man who uses words like "bigly".

Then a reporter asked Jordan if it was a coincidence that the money wasn't released until two days after the whistle blower alerted Congress. Jordan replied that that was when "they" decided that Zelensky was "the real deal" and that he was indeed "legit". Considering that Congress deemed Ukraine worthy and approved the money months before, I find it incredible that republicans felt they had to make another approval right after they got caught.

I have to wonder what goes through these republicans mind when they throw such nonsensical statements out there. Do they really believe their own words or do they consider themselves to be master liars speaking to a public too stupid to know the difference?

few years ago with a cat reading the newspaper looking down at you over its glasses and says, "Did your ears hear what your mouth just said?" This reminds me of that meme.

I already saw that defense on Twitter so people are really that dumb and believe it.
The quote alone tells you that Trump had been warned about his actions and that he tried to cover his ass after the act. It's obvious that people around him saw all this coming.

1) Because they really have low comprehension and:
2) They don't care what crimes Trump commits as long as he keeps pissing off liberals.
3) These are the only people that the GOP office holders think they need to keep happy

So, republicans can literally stand in front of the camera and belch and the target base will consider it a brilliant rebuttal.
