How can Democrats get the public more enthused about impeaching trump

The general public seems to be evenly divided between supporting impeachment and removal from office with slightly more in favor of removing him. To me, this should be a slam dunk with 70% in favor (accounting for his 30% fascist cult following).

The facts of the case are no longer in dispute — there's no question that trump was orchestrating a scheme to have Ukraine investigate the Bidens, thus smearing him and removing one of his biggest political rivals.

There's no question that what he did falls under federal bribery statutes.

The statute also offers a reasonable working definition of what it means for a public official to demand a bribe: “Whoever ... being a public official … directly or indirectly, corruptly demands, seeks, receives, accepts, or agrees to receive or accept anything of value personally ... in return for ... being influenced in the performance of any official act” also has committed the offense. (https://www.lawfareblog.com/gordon-sondland-accuses-president-bribery).

Bribery is one of only two offenses spelled out in the Constitution as grounds for impeachment. This is as cut and dried as a case can be.

We've always known that republicans have pledged loyalty to trump and will do whatever is necessary to defend him — even if it means spitting on the Constitution. But that loyalty would vanish if the republican senators knew their constituents were in favor of impeachment. How can we sway those constituents?

Now that Adam Schiff has established that trump was forcing Ukraine to investigate the Bidens in exchange for release of military aid, I'd like to have him engage in a campaign to educate the public about what the Founding Fathers meant by an impeachable crime, why what trump did fits the description of those crimes, and why it's important for America's future to remove him from office. I'd love to see Jon Meacham or Ron Chernow speak at the hearings. That would surely excite people about what's going on. Everyone behaves in their own best interest. Now we must demonstrate to America why it's in everyone's best interest to remove trump.

The case for impeachment has been made. Now it's time to sell it to the American public.

Look at the data on this summary.

Thirty out of thirty-eight polls have moved up in favoring impeachment AND removal.

Many of them are double digit moves.

President can face.

Of course, removal or resignation can only happen once.

Since the Senate doesn't seem inclined to remove the Liposuction Clinic Dumpster Fire at this time and seems inclined to do little aside from stacking the Federal Courts with unqualified right-wing partisan ideologues.

It would seem the thing to do is queue up another impeachment to follow on the heels of this and another after that, as many as it takes, on as many charges as can be found (there are plenty) for either the Senate to act or Trump is out of office by other means. (He will never resign.)

Give Trump what he wants... Something no other President has ever had, multiple Impeachments.
