I really don't understand what happened to Graham. I've seen video of his praise for Biden and his disregard of Trump. I've heard people say it's

*the Russians didn't just hack the democrats.
*rumors of his homosexuality (but can one really go years in the military, gov, etc. without being discovered? I vote asexual)
*money he might have taken from dubious sources
*weird attachment issues (like he has to attach to 'strong' men to feel confident)

When it comes out, I hope I'm ready.

I find it impossible to characterize him as just a callous narcissist, a conscience-free manipulator who will nonchalantly do anything to anyone to preserve his power. You have to wonder about McCain's ability to pick friends. He was not even cold in his grave before Lindsey unbuckled Trump's pants and said "what is your pleasure, oh great one?" Lindsey seems weird, first calling Trump a con man and liar and then having his lips surgically attached to Trump's ass. He was super hot to impeach Clinton, but with Trump not so much. I guess being a Russian mole is far less serious than a oval office hummer.

29. IMHO, there's no question that there's a problem with Graham

I know the conspiracy theories that have been roiling about for years. But this recent 180 is just too weird, even for your run-of-the-mill politician. For someone with Graham's history and seniority, it's weirder.

They say confession is good for the soul. If he just told the truth - about himself, about the 180, about the cravenness toward trump, and more - he might actually gain some sympathy. And if he doesn't, then so be it. It would at least leave him with some version of a spine, however shriveled, and a shred of dignity.

Although every politician has to have a streak of narcissism, he is nowhere on the level of his new Dear Leader, and this cravenness, this violation of his link with McCain, and more, has to be eating him alive.
