1. Absolutely infuriating.

Only two things can be possible: (1) the senators have chosen not to believe the intelligence agencies because they want to believe the falsehoods for their own and Trump's purposes, or (2) they believe the intelligence agencies' briefing but have decided to push this disinformation to the public anyhow, probably to stay in the good graces of Fat Nixon and the MAGAt base.

Either possibility is appalling.

If Trump is impeached the Republican party is destroyed for a generation... This is their last desperate grasp to hold onto power. They don't care how history will portray them.
