(my dad and his dad were 1/2 bros) and one of his 4 kids ... but they're not total knuckle-draggers ... they're both pro-Union, but love their gunz and were raised Catholic ... they don't tend to bring up politics at family gatherings (at least not the ones I've been at, which isn't that often anymore).

My half-cousin did brag to me about the giant carbon footprint of his new tricked out Dodge Challenger and I just kinda went ... 'yeah, cuz ... you know *I'm* not impressed' and that was that.
