Mike Pompeo Just Used Russian Propaganda At Press Conference

From the article:

Trump and Pompeo are using a conspiracy theory of Russian origin to put more pressure on Ukraine to try to get them to investigate the Bidens. It is vital for Trump’s 2020 reelection hopes that Russia be cleared so that they will be free to interfere in the election next year to help Donald Trump.
The Secretary of State just stood up before the cameras on national television and gave his support to Trump’s attempt to solicit foreign election interference by repeating Russian propaganda.
Ukraine did not hack the DNC, or interfere in the 2016 election. There is no server. It is all a piece of conspiracy theory propaganda pushed by Russia to attack Ukraine and give them more room to attack the United States in 2020.

And Pompeo's lies will be repeated by the GOP, and FOX.

Currently it seems that they have changed their defense and are saying it outright and often in their support of Putin over the constitution. He is their leader and they are saying so by repeating Putin's talking points right and left to the media. It has increased a lot over the past few weeks even. I expect it to increase even more. They are enabling Putin and not our democracy.

Add that to most of the reporters covering them. Fiona Hill even told the GOP members of the committee that she wished they would stop pushing Putin's agenda and talking points.

And the well documented Russia/GOP/2016 connection.

And the Deutsche Bank/Trump connection.

And the evidence of Russian mobsters and oligarchs paying far above list price for Trump condos.

And the McConnell/NRA/Russian money connection.

And the McConnell/Rusal/refusal to impose sanctions nexus.

as Putin is, seizing Ukraine would be a huge win for Putin.

And, to your second point, and third, Putin's seizure of Crimea fits.

Who do you trust?

I remember when this place was crawling with "Ukrainians are Nazis" propaganda.

Are there far-right nutjobs in Ukraine? Yes, like many places in eastern Europe.

But what is particularly amusing is how de-nazification was the justification for continued Soviet domination of East Germany for decades.

Same shit, different day.

many very fine Trump supporters are actually Nazis.

But in this case, no matter one's thoughts on isolationism versus intervention, the Ukraine story is Russian disinformation in action.
