"Mad scramble" to go shopping?

Maybe today in some places, but most people don't wait until CHRISTMAS EVE to rush out and buy, buy, BUY!!!

But a local ABC affiliate just did a "news" story saying that since the "shopping season" is 6 days shorter this year, there will be a "mad scramble" the whole time just to buy the latest crap.

"Buy gifts! Buy gifts! BUY GIFTS!!!'

Sheesh.

I'd rather stick a hot poker in my eye than join the "mad scramble".

My wife and our two kids work in retail. They all had to work today. I’m home putting up a few Xmas decorations.

The only retail stores I go to during the season are groceries.
