"'Tis pity HE'S a whore". This (paraphrased) quotation occurred to me as I listened to

a TV discussion of the outrageously dishonest and shameless conduct of a prominent member of theTrump regime.

Can you guess which one? No, of course you can't.

And, why do you genuinely have no idea which Trumpster has been shown willing to prostitute himself in order to shield Dear Leader from the consequences of his own incompetence; his own ignorance; his own corrupt and criminal behavior?

Why, because ALL of the craven hypocritical Donnie-wannabes who share the "honor" of kissing Trump's ass are whores of the very worst sort: they willingly soil and dishonor themselves for money or power or, more pathetically, mere attention.

1. Are you saying there's a Republican you would support if they weren't a Trump fan?

Or is this just another metaphor that looks down on sex workers, especially women and femmes?

2. Your first sentence is just totally "out of left field" to me--- I have no idea how you got that

from my OP.

Your second sentence is a tiresome creation of an anti-woman straw man out of a correct usage of the words "whore" and "prostitute".

'Tis a pity he's a whore - is a put down response. It's a comeback to someone saying something over the top positive about ... in this case trump. It's a sneering, sarcastic response ... you don't know what you're talking about.

And, you're correct - there's no way to pick out the mystery trumpster, based on the information offered in your OP.

...to the spectacle of people debasing themselves. What I can't get over is how seriously he's taken in news coverage, though he's always been faithless and crass and venal and mean-spirited.
