When speaking to include first, himself (DUH) and then his coterie and, at times, his supporters.

This is why the Republican argument that when Trump said, "We would like you to do us a favor, though" he was asking for a boon on behalf of America is incorrect. "We" in that sentence did NOT mean the country, but rather his inner circle of political cronies. It is not quite the same as the "royal we", but when he says it, he does mean "me and mine". This is because his ego is so large that it is extended over those around him who reflect back his preferred vision of himself.
