Coyotes spotted prowling Trump golf course in NYC: 'Pups taking sandwiches out of golf carts.'

Coyotes have taken up residence at one of President Donald Trump’s urban golf courses.

Humans have driven the largely nocturnal wild animals far from their normal range in the western U.S., and they’ve been spotted at Trump Golf Links in the Bronx, as well as Manhattan and Queens, reported The Guardian.

“The staff at the golf course think the coyotes are cool,” said Chris Nagy, a wildlife biologist and co-founder of the research group Gotham Coyote. “But there’s a point where if the coyotes are getting annoying and worrying the golfers, then they’ll change their minds.”

Ecologists have been warning of a sixth great extinction, with about a million species endangered, but coyotes have been thriving even as humans cut into wildlife habitats.

Coyotes have colonized New York and Detroit, along with other adaptable species such as raccoons, opossums and bobcats, and the grey wolf’s smaller relative has been thriving at the president’s $269 million golf course.

I know which one IMPOTUS would prefer -- the Second Amendment solution.

stand by for some explosive days on the greens and fairways.

EDIT: Oops, my bad. Out of deep compassion I guess, he reversed his earlier bloodthirsty position.

the more you kill/remove, the more you'll get. They replace rather quickly in a favorable environment.

As long as they aren't openly fed, they are less likely to become aggressive. If people are feeding them, trouble will come in time.

I wonder if urban areas could do a trap, neuter, release program as population control? Although, the public might get tetchy. People are okay with neutering Fluffy, they might draw the line at Wile E.

I'm up against BLM land and they have a lot of room to roam.
This morning, just before dawn, they were whooping it up pretty loud.
Every evening, before the hunt, and every morning when they split up to go home,
they get quite vocal. When there is rain and they are healthy, the are quite
cool looking. And very smart. I really like them.

in my neighborhood, they've killed off much of the wild life along with people's pet cats and dogs. I keep my cats strictly indoors, they never go out, I don't want them to be coyote food. They can be heard howling at night and I've seen them during the day . This is what happens when formerly wildness area get developed, coyotes have no where to go but into long developed neighborhoods.
