Trump and Bolton are pissed that Irans response didnt escalate the US into a war! So, the Trump goons will do something to Iran real soon and thus make the response higher & with casualties of Americans, thus giving them an excuse begin a war! It is what I feel and onl an opinion!

(10,252 posts)Tomorrow, the House will vote a war powers act to curb and contain Trump's recklessness. A short while later, the Senate will force a war powers vote of gtheir own, and it will only need 51 votes. Besides our military leadership will simply refuse such an order from Trump.

(4 posts)So at the end of the day, nobody got killed except for an Iranian terrorist #1. Sounds like a win.

(4 posts)Yeah, I'm like "what the hell is he doing???" (as always). But the aftermath looks pretty good - one bad guy killed, no war. All is well indeed.

(31,163 posts)assassination of high ranking political/military members of countries we don't agree with. So I guess it's good when they hit one of our leaders. Got it.
So I'll ask again...you sure you belong here?

So the question whether it was a right thing to do becomes a practical one. The end result seems to say yes.
Yes, it's a proper place for me to be here - how else do I learn the ways of wise people, like yourself?

(17,663 posts)There are many families in Canada who lost young people as a result.
Who had the power to escalate this to a nightmare? Whose response was not in our control?
Iran has the upper hand and had the power, not us.
Hey did you happen to catch any of the lies about Irans bombs being paid for with their assets that were stuck in banks being unfrozen and given to them as part of the Iran nuclear deal?
It wasnt our money. It was their property

(10,039 posts)Fighting isn't any fun when the other side can give you a bloody nose. Although Iran would be eventually dominated in a war, the cost for the US could be very, very, high at the outset. Iran already crossed Trump's red-line and he didn't do squat. Iran shot down a civilian airliner and Trump isn't going to do squat.
