Trump Sounded Drugged As He Slurred, Snorted, and Breathed Heavily During Iran Statement


It is well known that Trump doesn’t drink or use drugs, but he was slurring, snorting, and breathing heavily through his statement on Iran.

The problems were evident from the beginning of his statement when Trump said:

I’m pleased to inform you: The American people should be extremely grateful and happy no Americans were harmed in last night’s attack by the Iranian regime. We suffered no casualties, all of our soldiers are safe, and only minimal damage was sustained at our military bases.
 
Our great American forces are prepared for anything. Iran appears to be standing down, which is a good thing for all parties concerned and a very good thing for the world...........................

and yes, he doesn't considered it a "drug" because it is a prescription medication. People who worked with him on The Apprentice said he used it a lot, as well as other drugs.

He was a mess today and there was something seriously wrong.

Either he is drugging himself. He certainly seems to like uppers, which I assume he takes willingly so maybe he chooses to take sedatives during difficult times? Or someone close to him is encouraging him/drugging him in certain situations. If it's the latter, that someone would have been close during the campaign and still close now.

13. I think they must have been drugging him

but he is so hyper-crazy it didn't work in normal doses. He was probably like this today since they had to give him an extra large dose to get through his speech. Since he has been known to take drugs for a while they probably have lost some of their normal impact and needs to be constantly increased to have any effect.

Many drugs dilate pupils and give you a very dry mouth. He could be on any number of things.

between breaths, but he read the teleprompter smoothly enough without difficulties. I've never been on tranquilizers, or close to someone who has, and don't know what signs to look for.

A speech coach back in 2016 noted Trump's shallow breathing and sniffling seldom occurred but notably during debates with Hillary, and he believed it was due to performance anxiety, and the sniffling is actually shallow breathing sharply through his nose instead of normal relaxed deep breathing. ?

Whatever the cause it was ruling during that reading.

That is why he either gives up on the teleprompter, or why when he stays with it he has to read it slowly. He most probably doesn't understand what he is reading.

24. I don't think so, Perseus. We've watched him handle

the teleprompter for years now. He does fine with it. Most often bored with having to say what he doesn't believe, and it shows in his usually boring delivery.

But we can usually guess when he's frightened by consequences of his own actions because he agrees to stay on script, as he did here. This time was obviously much worse than usual.

I know what you mean about reading, though. Apparently he avoids it amap, serious problem focusing.

like he's struggling to look "presidential." I watched about 7 minutes and don't see what all the fuss is about. What worries me, however, are the actual words coming out of his mouth. Fat Nixon and right-wing media are pushing the lie that "the previous Administration" enabled Iran with billions of dollars, including cold, hard cash, which has put Americans (civilian and soldier) at risk. What went down with Iran is extremely complicated but Republicans have distilled it down to a simple statement -- they're masters at it -- and MAGATs everywhere are whipped into a frenzy. The average American will hear 'XX gave Iran XX money and Iran used it to XX against America." Dems better be prepared to combat this.
