But Iran is simply the "bad guy". Gotta sanction them some more. So what if Iranians are starving while they try to defend themselves.

Corporations don't pay for their pollution (carbon), neither do we. We just dump our carbon, and our methane, and our debt onto our kids, their kids, and our planet. Boom. There ya go. Have some fires and hurricanes! Droughts and floods! Wahoo!!!!
And somehow Iran is "baaaaaad" because they don't want the same corporations that run (and are destroying) the Earth running Iran (among other things). There is this religious poison all over the planet justifying war.
It isn't as simple as we are good, and they are bad.
Now when civilization will collapse in the not too distant future..... Maybe 30 years.

Please don't flag for conspiracy. Six scientists put it out there, and other scientists dispute it. The fact is every single estimate of how bad it will be gets changed to it getting worse faster. We went from the end of the century to 30 years. Maybe 40 years before it all collapses with billions starving. I am not a scientist. I just watch more fires year after year, after year. Ever heard of California or Australia?
