Polling For Impeaching Trump Has Been Trending Up Since mid December According to 538

Polling For Impeaching Trump Has Been Trending Up Since mid December According to 538

Look under the Do Americans support impeaching Trump?

https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/impeachment-polls/

A couple of things I find interesting

Under - Support for impeachment by party

- ONLY ... ONLY ... around 82% of dems support impeachment and removal wtf ?!!? and is holding steady

- The 2 - 3% up and down in the polls on impeachment have been republican support for impeachment, independents and dems have been steady

Under - Do Americans support removing Trump from office?

- Removal from office has fallen among democrats since the beginning and is holding steady at 82 since mid December.
- The AVERAGE for impeachment and removal has risen under Do Americans Support Impeaching Trump Impeach and Remove option.

The data is kinda confusing, they way 538 has it categorized

It looks like democrats have work to do among democrats when it comes to removing Red Don.

If 9 out of 10 democrats wanted impeach and remove like 9 out of 10 reps do not then the polling would be in the high 50s?

what say you?

2. +1, I expect 9 out of 10 republicans to support Trump but I'm think we should have 9.5 out of 10

But some past sentiment to 'move on' from damaging actions by repukes was evidently not the way to roll.

... party with a cucumber or something of the sort meaning they went way to light on them.

Trump is a symptom of letting reThugs get away with stupid crap and now they literally support an admitted sexual predator who abuses children and harasses teenage girls on twitter.

I see us as having tons more integrity than the repukes, but this hurt us for decades along the way.

Hopefully we Dems will have the 'last laugh' on the malefactors, so to speak. And we will prove victorious in these darkest of days.
