Right now Democrat’s have won the battle but are losing the war. You can’t drag this out indefinitely and not lose the support of the American people. I don’t think Pelosi has made a good case publicly for the delay- and public opinion matters in this.

Long enough to get passed the SOTU . Otherwise he will
Use an acquittal to crow full exoneration.

Having a date certain will force the Repugs to try to justify why they are so eager to have their sham trial before the SOTU. Can't they wait three weeks? If he's innocent now he'll be innocent then.

I believe in the Speaker.

the Democratic party at least have opinions and thought that vary unlike the Republicans.

We are not a cult, and I know it can be a pain in the ass when our members differ. I prefer to be a "big" tent, that is what Democracy looks like.

Start acting like single minded trolls like the Republicans and we become like them - uncaring and greedy sob's.

And it's ok to criticize as well, but Graham went to far - calling his members un-American because they disagreed, that is an cult mentality.

P.S. Nancy P have the upper hand, hold tight!

There isn't one right answer in all this and people are going to have different opinions. We shouldn't jump all over anyone who believes Pelosi should send over the articles of impeachment to the senate. Meanwhile, Pelosi will do what she thinks is best, unfortunately McConnell will do what he thinks is best for Trump. No point in trashing one another.

If he doesn't want to call Bolton to testify, and just leave it for the Senate, that might be a mistake?

By the time the presentations are made in the trial, McConnell will be working to unite his caucus on a "no-witness vote" and will then call for a vote to dismiss. That would be my guess.
