We already have Sara Gideon, the Speaker of the Maine House, running against Collins. I'm certain Sara Gideon is going to win the Maine Democratic primary and will be Collins' Democratic challenger in the general election. I also think Sara Gideon has a very good shot of winning the general election. Collins isn't so popular here any more and this will be the first time that she'll have to face a ranked choice election. That means she must get 50% of votes to win.
