There is nothing but advantage so far. Trump is squirming. Moscow is squirming. Individual senators are squirming. Collins is setting herself on fire.

What, exactly, is the downside?

Even if moscow votes to try them without them being released, we shouldn't show up until we are ready.

Pelosi said as recently as last night she isn't releasing them yet. Moscow still hasn't set the rules, and won't, until the trial begins.

I personally want this unresolved until after the state of the union, at a minimum.
