(34,111 posts)we will see what happens. Things seem and feel different but I am not sure how different they really are when it comes to the voting public. Trump is still up here and that really bugs me, I would have thought he would have dropped a lot but last I looked he really had not dropped much.
Laura is doing a good job and is apparently enjoying it according to someone who knows her better than I do.
EDIT to add, she just put in a great Supreme Court judge and another has quit so she has another to appoint. That has helped immensely here.

(34,111 posts)She is smart, very smart and it is working pretty well so far. Session starts soon, the 13th, so we will find out. There is a huge push to get rid of abortion since last year we got it back whole cloth pretty much. It has riled up the RR.
According to my source, she LOVES this job and enjoys all of it. I think that is a huge thing, to have someone who actually loves all the wonky stuff and all the figuring out how to work with those who hate what she wants to do. She is a smart woman.
