Why did the Iranians allow flights in the air in their airspace? They knew

they were going to war the hours before. Trudeau just made a speech about ithe missile attack and how he does not think it was intentional on Iran's part. They had puctures of the canadian-iranians killed on the news last night. It never ended. So sad.

Apparently the pentagon says it was Russian made missiles that Iranians used to shootdown the jetliner (Barbara Starr CNN)

This is the detail that raises doubts of intent and/or origin I think. Too many lies doesn’t help either

So many lives lost

...they should've ground-stopped all commercial flights from the airport, knowing the potential for the US to strike back.

7. It was Iranian missiles that struck the plane. There is something called the fog of war.

It should never have flown.

Not with cold calculations, but with a cascading series of fuckups and hysteria. This is why you don’t mount a major attack on someone and hope to negotiate afterwards.

The military should have closed the airspace before the missile attack on Iraq and kept it closed for at least the next day. They wouldn't have had to necessarily made it public that the attack was about to take place, but they could have unilaterally kept civilian aircraft from creating more confusion for them.

Time Hannity said that vs. time of crash.

It's entirely conceivable that Iranian and other foreign intel agencies watch Fox News as a source for what the Dump administration is up to.

17. B-52s can fly much higher then the effective ceiling of the TOR-1 missile system

"The Tor missile system is an all-weather low to medium altitude, short-range surface-to-air missile system."

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tor_missile_system

I would expect the TOR system to be of no use at all in defending against high flying B-52s.
