(82,849 posts)This should cause Trump to flip-flop again and declare the intelligence community (upon which he relied so heavily to assassinate General Soleimani) untrustworthy and tools of Deep State.

(7,813 posts)like how many investigations conducted on the Benghazi attack? About 8?
The rethugs can never find anything she did wrong, but they still keep hounding and hounding her.
Of course, they're not going to publicize her exoneration. They'll wait a few months and start yet another.

(42,288 posts)John Huber, the U.S. attorney in Utah, was tapped in November 2017 by then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions to look into concerns raised by President Trump and his allies in Congress that the FBI had not fully pursued cases of possible corruption at the Clinton Foundation and during Clintons time as secretary of state, when the U.S. government decided not to block the sale of a company called Uranium One.
As a part of his review, Huber examined documents and conferred with federal law enforcement officials in Little Rock who were handling a meandering probe into the Clinton Foundation, people familiar with the matter said. Current and former officials said that Huber has largely finished and found nothing worth pursuing though the assignment has not formally ended and no official notice has been sent to the Justice Department or to lawmakers, these people said.
The effective conclusion of his investigation, with no criminal charges or other known impacts, is likely to roil some in the GOP who had hoped the prosecutor would vindicate their long-held suspicions about a political rival. Trump, though, has largely shifted his focus to a different federal prosecutor tapped to do a separate, special investigation: U.S. attorney in Connecticut John Durham, who Attorney General William P. Barr assigned last year to explore the origins of the FBIs 2016 probe into possible coordination between the Trump campaign and Russia.

They knew that there was nothing to find before they started "investigating" the Clinton Foundation and Uranium One, just like they know that there is nothing to investigate in Ukraine about Joe Biden. The "investigation" is the point and the reason that Trump is now president.

(36,907 posts)So Hillary supposedly gave away all that uranium/control?
"Days later, Trump said that the approval of the uranium sale is just one reason why Clinton should be investigated and, in a tweet, urged Republicans to DO SOMETHING! "

What happened to the deal?
Now that republicans love Mother Russia, note that they did not cancel the deal.
James whined about Hillary's so-called uranium deal but now that he and his fellow republicans love Mother Russia, note that they did not cancel the deal.

(81,467 posts)They draped themselves all over this shit, obsessing on it endlessly, practically slept in it every night, and we never heard the end of it.
But now that, ONCE AGAIN, shes proven innocent.
Youd think after coming up empty this frequently, this consistently, this completely, that the Hillary haters would finally tire of it, or get bored with it because it always ends the same way, or get sick of coming up empty time after time, and go find somebody else to pick on.
Its waaaaaay past time all you haters finally faced it. Youre NOT gonna get anything on her. Not EVER. Know why? Because she NEVER did ANYTHING wrong in the first place!
And its gonna wind up as a few lousy paragraphs on page A-24 over in the inside corner, below the fold. where nobodys gonna see it.

(4,612 posts)Part of the reason they're Republicans to begin with is their inherent incompetence. They know after repeated failure that they're hopeless idiots and that they're going to have to rely on manipulations, lies and cult tactics to get anywhere. They're too stupid to engage in a genuine, effective investigation, whether there's something to investigate or not.
