The first episode shows President Obama interviewing however many people Trump embarrassed on his rotten excuse for a television show. Just a normal, non-humiliating interview process.

The next 12 episodes show the person who won Episode 1 going back to his or her hometown and starting a successful business that employs people and isn’t a store or restaurant, using money Obama raised from his network of donors.

Season 2 is the same thing, but a percentage of Season 1 Winner’s company’s profits also go into starting the Season 2 business.

Where you find someone with an aptitude for a profession, teach her or him how to do whatever the job is, training, educating, and nurturing their talents - then promote the apprentice to journeyman, and find another young person to mentor. No one gets booted off because that's not how apprenticing really works.

How they took a word like "Apprentice" and turned it into a synonym for a nerve-wracking competition is beyond me. Being an apprentice is supposed to be a stepping stone to accomplishing a craft or skill.

Obama passed up the chance of a lifetime to hire my daughter. She interviewed for a position....behind the scenes....but didn't get it.

Just saying you are going to hear about her, and he missed his chance to say he gave her start.

Really she is very good. But she landed another job.
