Another protest taking place at the Hart Senate Officer Bldg

Red T Raccoon @RedTRaccoon · 11m

Barbara is 85 years old and is protesting at the Hart building as part of Strom the Senate and physically can't stand in protest.

Capitol Police singled her out and made her remove the device she used to participate with the others.

This is discrimination and its wrong.

This is the moving part.

Instead of letting her sit by herself, the protesters moved to surround Barbara with strength and love.

All of us must have an equal opportunity to speak up in protest.

and not sturdy enough to hold her up if there’s any kind of scuffle or heavy foot traffic. I would have had her go to to the heavy bench also if I were in control of that lobby. But there’s always gotta be something to get indignant about

Excellent use of the available 'tags' to enclose a tweet with its plain text while separating the pair from others.
