2. They are actually angry at themselves.

You don’t need to be Freud to understand this. They know they are sellouts. They know they are betraying their own dignity. They are angry that Trump has turned everything upside down and they are caught in the clusterfuck he created. They are seizing an opportunity to place the anger they have inside of themselves on something outside of themselves. Bitter angry people do this, look for someone or something to blame so they can feel better. Adam Schiff is the perfect scapegoat. He mentions a CBS report, a report from a mainstream news agency, and they vent outrage. The truth is they are angry at Trump, Trump voters who they fear, and mostly themselves for being pathetic and weak.
