The day after the senate votes not to convict

The dems better run attack ads after attack ads, and I mean everything is game.

Someone has the apprentice tapes, play them, what ever they have and it must be a lot,
they cant afford to play nice.

I remember that political movie and the Kathy bates character said something along the lines of
"we must be above them"

I disagree, its time for the dems to play the way trump does, that's the only way you
take down a bully.

if there's one thing I can't and WON'T stand behind, it's a bunch of blatant spin and misinformation. I'm assuming the OP was talking within those kinds of clear boundaries.

Why not? He'll feel he's gotten away with everything he's done as president, so why not go for for the whole enchilada?

The thing is, he might succeed.

We already know that he and the Repugs are going to cheat to get him reelected. I predicted last year that he was going to avoid any debates, and that's the way he's heading. I've never lived in such a corrupt time, and I thought Dubya was bad.

He's only the 3rd US president to be cast into that little club.

And I hope it's burning a hole in him.

that the GrOPers will introduce a motion to dismiss BEFORE any testimony. A motion to dismiss is not even a vote to convict or acquit, it is short-circuiting the process long before that.

This motion was introduced in the Clinton impeachment, but as the GrOPers had the majority in an impeachment trial of a Democratic POTUS, that motion (requiring a simple majority) failed -- note the contrast that this time it is a GrOPer majority in an impeachment trial of a GrOPer POTUS, but the difference between the two cases will likely not stop them from claiming an equivalance and hiding behind this maneuver as "fair is fair, it was done before" or similar nonsense.

He's a faux Christian who, along with NBC, created the image of Trump as a successful businessman. He won't tarnish his creation.

Trump will press Barr to prosecute Democratic impeachment managers and other perceived enemies. That's where my money would be, if I were a gambler.

To beat a bully, you just need to go all 'Ralphie' on him. Reference to ' A Christmas Story' for visual emphasis.
