Republicans are VERY angry about Schiffs decision to reference that CBS head on a pike report. Murkowski says thats where he lost me. Barrasso says whatever gains he may have made, he lost all of it plus some tonight.

They know he's a shitheel that would say such a thing - they were coached to clutch their pearls by either McConnell or the WH.

Murkowski's statement might be half true. The 'heads on a pike' thing is where she caved. Although more likely it was when Trump, not Schiff, used it to threaten them. So it becomes a convenient excuse to absolve themselves now.
