We are actively recruiting for roles that serve as the foundation for the DemCast model. Content Captains, Social Media Captains & Outreach Coordinators are critical to ensure that DemCast is built by and reflective of local activists, and focused on issues of relevance.

THE ROLES
Individuals filling the following roles will work together as a State Leadership Team – identifying grassroots organizations and activists to connect to the project, and helping to drive content and amplification strategies.

STATE OUTREACH COORDINATORS
State Outreach Coordinators will help DemCast connect the dots within your state – linking our effort to local activist groups like Indivisibles and Democratic Party groups so that we can curate and amplify their content. Click here for full position description.

STATE CONTENT CAPTAINS
As Content Captains, you will find potential content creators (writers, podcasters, graphic artists, etc.) in your state, prompt participation, mentor them, identify stories that need to be told and share those ideas with the creator team. Click here for full position description.

This essential role requires finding social media digital activists in your state (“DemCasters”), introducing them to the model, identifying what state-specific messages need to be amplified, and guiding their engagement and amplification. Click here for full position description.
