I’ll take an American “deep state” over a murderous Russian deep state any day of the fuc*ing week.

But bureaucracy isn’t a “deep state” as Putin & Pal are promoting. American government bureaucracy is the glue that holds together the government when fly-by-night political fads like Trump try to destroy it.

We definitely don’t want a government that is all glue. But a government with no glue is chaos-by-design.
