about who did what and said what 30 years ago, or maybe didn't, and who the fuck cares? The house is on fire and people are arguing about who gets to drive the fire truck and who had an accident with it 30 years ago and whether the hose is made of organic materials and whether all the firefighters are woke.

Just stop it, FFS. Please. It's not "vetting" any more; it's just a game of mine is better than yours. That's a kids' game and some people need to grow up. There are much, much bigger fish to fry.
