90% of all posts are attacking Bernie Sanders like crazy. Various posters behaving like Trump supporters trolling people who support a candidate they don't like with cry emojis just like Trump supporters tell libs "aww, poor libs are sad."
Has that forum always been this hateful and disgustingly toxic? If that's the kind of unity I should expect from Dems, I guess I better prepare to leave the country because Trump will likely capitalize on it.

(14,118 posts)this is typical primary behavior. 2008 and 2016 were worse around here. Itll get much calmer after we have a nominee. Everyone will unite to get rid of Trump and those who refuse to do that are usually kicked off the forum.

(30,820 posts)It always gets like this here; that's why there is a separate forum for DP, so we can avoid it if we want.
This too shall pass.

(1,736 posts)Name one legitimate poll or political scientist who uses Bernie Bros as a term.
It's a fiction that erases the diversity among Sanders supporters.
It's obviously ok to support others for the nomination, but doing it with references to fictional characters is out of bounds.

(53,410 posts)GP was just recently added just for that purpose. The way you say it is in there is what it was out here in GD before. The mods got smart.

(11,760 posts)People's ability to discuss and debate is very much absent in that forum. Reminds me of the old Gungeon a few years back. I would strongly suggest staying out of the forum, for your sanity.

(13,790 posts)... I've been consoled since the primaries began at the number of posts where someone supporting one candidate says good things about another candidate. That's the main tone of this forum, or, at least has been. An example of respectful disagreement.
