Also, hosts usually do not appear in the open skit but I am not an expert.

At the end they did thank Jake Gyllenhaal and was not sure where he appeared.

A lot of goog singing.

look for it online. Yes the host is really good. I don't think i've seen him except on SNL as host once before and in a Jimmy Fallon skit last Christmas.

10. One of my favorites from the 80's....

Would play it while driving on road trips and also in my dorm room in college....

The female Bassist is one of the best ever....Tina Weymouth...she wrote Psycho Killer and Burning down the House...

Loved the Talking Heads.... My all time favorite is "Once in a Lifetime"

The Lyrics are great too for Road to Nowhere:

Road to Nowhere
Talking Heads
Well we know where we're going
But we don't know where we've been
And we know what we're knowing
But we can't say what we've seen
And we're not little children
And we know what we want
And the future is certain
Give us time to work it out

Yeah

We're on a road to nowhere
Come on inside
Taking that ride to nowhere
We'll take that ride
I'm feeling okay this morning
And you know
We're on the road to paradise
Here we go, here we go

We're on a ride to nowhere
Come on inside
Taking that ride to nowhere
We'll take that ride
Maybe you wonder where you are
I don't care
Here is where time is on our side
Take you there, take you there

We're on a road to nowhere
We're on a road to nowhere
We're on a road to nowhere
There's a city in my mind
Come along and take that ride
And it's…

13. I love them too, but wasn't aware that Tina Weymouth wrote Psycho Killer and Burning

Down the House. Those were huge hits when I was back in college. Actually, Psycho Killer was more like high school, but we still danced to it at parties in college. The Talking Heads were big back then.

But the LaGuardia Airport skit was an instand classic. Brilliant. Never eat airport sushi!

The airport skit was terrific. Usually I quit after news update and glad I didn't tonight (trapped at desk). Sound of Music skit was great fun also. Opening with "Bloomberg" stepping on -- I just love Fred Armisen. SNL is a good tonic for what's on the news.
