But thanks for the updates!

Sound to me it was a retire or get fired, but I bet he caught them short with that speech lol.

After watching "Bowling For Columbine" I wondered when he turned into a right winger since he was such an outspoken Dem and civil rights advocate (as well as anti-gun) until the 1970s. I read his Wikipedia page it didn't say why he did a 180° turn. Something happened to a lot of older Hollywood celebs who were left wing in the 1960s then switched by the 1980s. I think it was even before Reagun. Was something in the water in Beverly Hills?

I know many here don't like Kornacki (I like him personally doing his analysis gig), but it's undeniable that
Kornacki cared about him. It's too bad Matthews didn't change his ways with women much sooner and apologize
and make amends.

It's hard to change, but everyone else has had to do it. And the old frat boy "take my wife please" jokester routine is DONE.

i really hope this wasn't some spontaneous on-air quit, and Matthews set it up with his producers to look that way.
otherwise, dick move Mr. Matthews, dick move

I'm old so it's sad for me to see another elder leave the public arena. Chris has not aged well, he appeared frequently out of touch with the current winds and relied on older paradigms to make his political assessments. He clearly was shoved aside. Was it ageist? Probably. Was it wrong given the times and his communication style and lack of a filter...Probably not.

I was not a Fan...He was creepy with women. But as an elder....It's sad to see some of our longstanding faces drift off the daily routine.

After his disgusting comments concerning a certain candidate’s win in Nevada he lost all respect I hade for him.

Now he can fade away with the rest of the dinosaurs who still shit their Depends when they hear the word “socialist”.
